Senior Planet Tech Skills Class: Ridesharing Apps

No car? No problem!

Discover how technology can make getting around town easier than ever. Join our next Senior Planet class on Friday, February 27, for a fun and hands-on class exploring ridesharing apps—sometimes called e-hailing apps.

We’ll start by introducing two of the most popular ridesharing apps, Uber and Lyft. Learn how they work, how they compare, and which one might best fit your needs.

In the hands-on workshop, we’ll focus on Lyft. You’ll get step-by-step guidance on how to find nearby drivers, view prices before booking, and pay securely through the app. Bring your smartphone or laptop to follow along—Windows laptops will also be available for use.

Time: Coffee, tea, and donuts at 9:45 AM; class starts promptly at 10:00
Location: RSVP Office, 6501 Watts Road, Suite 250, Madison
Parking: Available on the street and in the lot behind the building
Directions: Take the elevator to the second floor, turn right, and walk to the end of the hallway. (If you take the stairs, turn left at the top instead.)

We’ll wrap up at 12:15 PM with a light lunch and time to chat with fellow participants and Senior Planet Trainers.

Please register in advance using this online form. Space is limited to 10 participants, so please sign up only if you’re confident you can attend.
