RSVP volunteers contribute over 180,000 hours of service to their communities each year. Our annual Volunteer Appreciation Event is our opportunity to say “thank you” and to have some fun. This year’s event is a tribute to the “Happy Days” of the 1950s and features Will E-Vee, an Elvis impersonator. It will be held Thursday, October 22 from 11 am to 1 pm at The Heights Event Center, 411 Prairie Heights Drive, in Verona. Michelle Li, News Anchor at WISC-TV in Madison will be the guest speaker.
Fifteen volunteers who have made extraordinary contributions to community service will be recognized. Ten will received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award for over 4000 hours of service. Five will be given the RSVP Length of Service Award, recognizing 20 years of continuous service.
All RSVP volunteers who have reported hours in the last year will be our guests at the event and will receive invitations by mail in September.
