Where Volunteers Make a Difference

RSVP of Dane County is proud to announce that AARP of Wisconsin, a longtime supporter of Triad and the Triad Conference, has donated $1,000 to support the conference. In addition, AARP provides several volunteers to help with the planning. And again this year AARP is providing a speaker.

This Friday at 11:00 AM Shannon Guzman, Senior Strategic Policy Advisor at the AARP Public Policy Institute, will give a presentation entitled "Age-Friendly Housing: A National Perspective on Current Research, Trends and Policy Solutions." The presentation is virtual and part of the 2021 Triad Conference. Anyone interested in attending the remaining four presentations can register for the conference at https://bit.ly/2021TriadRegistration.

Triad and RSVP of Dane County are grateful for the support of AARP of Wisconsin which makes the 2021 Triad Conference possible. For more information about the Triad and the Triad Conference please email Mike Thomsen at .

Triad is a national program that promotes safety and crime prevention for seniors. RSVP partners with the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, local police departments, senior agencies and others in the community to bring vital crime prevention and safety information to Dane County seniors.

“Volunteering has put me in touch with people I would not have normally met. Introduced me to others from different cultural backgrounds. Helped provide structure to my days.”
