Where Volunteers Make a Difference

Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something.  Celebrate National Volunteer Week and learn what YOU can do at the RSVP Open House on Tuesday, April 25.

For forty-five years, RSVP of Dane County has been matching volunteers, primarily age 55 and over, with community service opportunities.  In celebration of National Volunteer Week, we are hosting an Open House to showcase the wide variety of volunteer opportunities available in our community.  You can speak to one of our personal volunteer coordinators to guide you in choosing from countless opportunities at over 85 nonprofit and public agencies throughout Madison and Dane County.  They can also help you decide whether you want to share skills developed over a lifetime or try something totally new.

Stop by for refreshments, and get to know more about RSVP and its programs.  Join us at the Volunteer Open House on Tuesday, April 25, 1-3 PM at the RSVP offices, 517 N. Segoe Road (next to the Hilldale Post Office), Madison, or call RSVP at 608-238-7787.

Volunteers Tell Us

Provides Structure to My Days
“Volunteering has put me in touch with people I would not have normally met. Introduced me to others from different cultural backgrounds. Helped provide structure to my days.”
