Where Volunteers Make a Difference

RSVP will celebrate its 45th anniversary at their annual Volunteer Appreciation Event on October 26.  Over those 45 years, more than 10,000 volunteers have given of their time and energy to help neighbors in 11 Dane County Communities.  Last year, 1604 RSVP volunteers provided 169,223 hours of service to help others in need.

RSVP will say thank-you to our current volunteers at the Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on October 26 at The Heights Event Center, 411 Prairie Heights Drive, in Verona from 11 AM to 1:00 PM.  In keeping with our celebration of the decades, this year's event will take us back to the 70s.  All volunteers who have reported hours since October, 2016, will receive invitations to this fun event, which also features music and door prizes.

Twenty-six volunteers from 11 Dane County communities will receive special awards for their outstanding service.  Fifteen will get the President's Lifetime Achievement Award for 4,000 hours of service, and 11 will receive the Length of Service Award for 20 consecutive years of service with RSVP.  Congratulations to our special award winners, listed below.  They have touched many lives with the generous gift of their time.
