| Financial Oversight and Planning Committee |
| This committee's primary responsibility is ensuring stable funding for RSVP. Committee members assist with budgeting, reviewing financial statements and help with long range planning. Meetings are typically every other month. Contact Margie Zutter, at 608 663-7536. |
| Marketing Committee |
| Increasing visibility and keeping the community informed are vital responsibilities of the Marketing Committee. Recent projects have included the development of a new logo with tagline, the design of brochures and the collection of stories about RSVP volunteers to be used for publicity purposes. | Corporate Relations Committee |

| Development Committee |
| RSVP's overall fundraising activities are coordinated by this committee. Members plan an annual Sweepstakes and coordinate the Annual Campaign, including corporate sponsorship of the Volunteer Appreciation Event. Experience in nonprofit fundraising and community and corporate relations is particularly sought in committee members. Meets once monthly. Contact Mick Maier, at 608 663-1319. |
| Agency Assessment Committee |
| This committee conducts an assessment of an RSVP program each year. Members prepare survey instruments, conduct site visits, compile and review survey results, and prepare a summary report with recommendations to the RSVP Board. | Personnel Committee |
| This committee reviews and revises policies related to personnel issues. It conducts the annual evaluation of the Executive Director. Members meet as needed. Contact Dave Tetzlaff, at 608 238-7901. |
| Nomination and Board Development Committee |
| The primary responsibility of this committee is to identify and recruit qualified individuals to serve on the RSVP Board of Directors and also on its committees. | Recognition Committee |
| Plans and implements the annual Volunteer Appreciation Event, which attracts approximately 350 RSVP volunteers for a luncheon with entertainment and presentation of awards such as the President's Lifetime Achievement Awards and RSVP's Length of Service Awards. The committee also oversees other recognition activites, such as volunteer birthday cards and acknowledgment during National Volunteer Week. Contact Jack Guzman, at 608 238-7933. |
| Triad Committee |
| This committee is composed of seniors, law enforcement personnel and representatives from community agencies. Members plan educational presentations on crime prevention and safety issues. Meetings are monthly or bi-monthly, depending upon communities. Contact Mary Stamstad, at 608 441-7897. |
| First Book |
| The First Book - Dane County Advisory Board raises funds and oversees First Book activities, providing free books to children from low income households. Meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
