Computer Partnership Program

Computer Partnership Program

Volunteer with the Intergenerational Computer Partnership Project!

Build relationships through technology!

Where would I be volunteering?

The Intergenerational Computer Partnership Program pairs senior volunteers with students from Middleton Alternative Senior High School (MASH).  Our past experiences with MASH students have shown them to be enthusiastic learners who are excited to meet and interact with older adults.

What will I be doing?
  • Build a computer to take home!
  • Build relationships with and communicate with local high school students.
  • Be part of a community that connects over food, conversation, and working together.
  • Learn more about using a computer.
What will be provided?
  • Computer parts to construct a working, refurbished computer
  • Food
  • Great conversation starters
  • The opportunity to connect with local youth

What is my contribution?
  • 4 - 5 weekly meetings
  • After earning your computer, using it to communicate with your student
  • Attend celebrations and gatherings with students
  • Sharing your experiences with others
What will I get out of this experience?
  • Your own refurbished computer to bring home
  • Relationships with local students and a way to communicate with them
  • A rewarding community and chance to meet people of all ages!
